Pros

Small Research and Development team (~12 total including other 2 interns) allowed for better communication and more of a feeling of community. Good Salary and interesting tasks to complete.

Cons

Some of the team's management methods were questionable and I felt like there could have been more direction/planning for my position from the start in order increase productivity.

Pros

Management is fair and very open to listening to suggestions for improvements to product and processes. Overall, the nicest group of people I have worked with in my career. Employee benefits were above industry standards. Products are well respected in the market. Excellent work life balance.

Cons

Limited tiers of sales roles and few opportunities for promotion within the sales team structure. Salary for experienced sales professionals was slightly below market rate for my territory.

Pros

People are very friendly, and everyone position themselves as "available to help". Fun group of people. Vacation time, benefits, and compensation are standard and fair.

Cons

Absolute disaster when it comes to processes. Employees that find holes or problems with processes or find issues that need to be addressed are rewarded by given the task of fixing the problem they found. Management has remained consistent for years while sales associates, customer service representatives, tech support, and all other members of staff have a high turnover rate. Marketing is looked at as not being necessary, while sales is pushed to constantly sell with no support or marketing team to promote them. Sales territories are ridiculously too large for any one person to manage and company as a whole is heavily understaffed. Most people take on the responsibility of 3-4 different roles, while some remain bored and surf the web all day. Management does not focus on the customer experience and will do ANYTHING to get a sale, even yield negative margin.
