Pros

This was a great place to work. The staff and management were friendly and supportive and we worked well as a team. The company offers a very generous benefit package including medical and dental insurance, retirement plan and great sick leave and vacation leave policy. If you follow the guidelines and make an effort to get along and get your work done, this is an ideal job. You don't have someone watching over you constantly - you are free to get the job done on your own as long as the job gets done. The management team is supportive and easy to approach with questions and concerns.

Cons

I appreciated the stability of a mature and carefully run organization. However, if someone is not serious or underperforms, then IERF would not be for that person.

Pros

The company is continuously working to expand the way they are trying to deliver and receive credentials as the world is going paperless and sending records electronically. They have expanded to sending and receiving reports and records via secure portal and work to improve access to the evaluations.

Cons

Some people are not as open to change as fast as the need to go digital goes.

Pros

- Comprehensive training process. - Consistent work hours. Little need for overtime if you're efficient in managing your workload. - Strong benefits package. - Zero micromanagement: management is entirely hands-off. This may appeal to some more than others. - *usually* Approachable and friendly staff.

Cons

- Limited growth trajectory. - Occasional poor communication between staff and management. Senior level employees can be inconsistent in their application / understanding of policies. - Lack of a cohesive office culture / too impersonal. This may bother some more than others, but the office is VERY quiet and few staff members interact with each other on a regular basis. I believe this is a consequence of both the nature of the work (95% of the time spent on a computer, sending e-mails, inputting data etc.) and the quantity of work. While it never got to be too much for me, you will remain busy and will feel that you have little time for conversation with your colleagues, especially if you wish to avoid overtime.
