11yI’m surprised to hear you feel that way. I grew up in the Chicago area and began my career with IMC 11 years ago, working in Chicago, Amsterdam, and Hong Kong along the way. I’m grateful to have been provided so much training and cool experiences along the way. Nationality is simply a non-factor and the most qualified people get the best opportunities, leading to a very diverse leadership team in Chicago.
We take recruiting and retaining top talent seriously and we put a significant amount time and resources into both. Our learning and development program is structured in a way to allow people to continue to grow with us in this continuously changing industry. By offering dedicated mentors, leadership training (through the Center for Creative Leadership), and numerous skill development courses, we’ve been able to increase retention significantly and this year has seen our lowest turnover in years.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review and I appreciate the recognition for our great benefits (I agree!). We take all current and former employees concerns seriously and will continue to look for ways to make IMC a great place to work.
