actual year 2012 - Engineer IMDS Employee Review

IMDS is working towards a more efficient and Lean company culture. They're very organized and a great company to learn from. They were also very willing to work around school schedule.

It was typical as an intern to be juggled between engineers who needed assistance with their designs doing the more menial tasks. Although its been done before, they don't typically hire their interns for full-time employment after graduation.

The projects vary greatly, allowing for a diverse back ground after 2 or 3 years there. Projects allow the chance to work with world known surgeons.

Expected to be a one stop shop engineer (i.e. design, regulatory, quality, etc.). A bit under employed currently and majority of the staff are currently involved with more than one project.
