Pros

- The company's commitment to hiring diversity and sponsoring individuals is extremely refreshing. - Everyone in the company is bright. Each person in management or on the Senior Leadership Team is a wealth of industry knowledge and each make a point of being available at almost any time. - Depending on the client, there is a great amount of creative freedom and collaboration to come up with analytical solutions. Co-founder Steve Cohen works tirelessly to support analysts with new tools and outside-the-box thinking. - The new offices (as of 2021) are beautiful and inviting. The SLT has made sure it's a space that works for everyone. - Health benefits are very good (if you're local to Boston because the network is relatively small). - The COVID-19 transition to working from home went well because of the SLT's clear vision and transparency. Everything that could be done to retain staff and prevent layoffs was done. - SLT knows that hiring entry-level talent means they get driven individuals who can learn skills quickly and bring fresh perspectives. - I always felt that my opinion was valued by management.

Cons

- There were very few conversations about career trajectory. Being a smaller company, promotion is not a cut-and-dry process, but I think communication on what was needed to make take that leap forward would have been nice. - There were notable periods of crunch semi-regularly.

Pros

My time at in4mation insights was an invaluable chapter in my career. As a small company, it fostered a genuinely friendly and supportive environment where collaboration and innovation were not just encouraged but deeply ingrained in its culture. The projects were of a high caliber, offering rich opportunities for personal and professional growth. For someone at the start of their career, the mentorship provided here was exceptional, with seasoned professionals eager to share their insights and guidance. The small team size meant that every contribution was significant and recognized. This set-up allowed for a rapid learning curve and the chance to take on diverse roles, making each day both challenging and rewarding. The experience, knowledge, and relationships I've gained here are irreplaceable. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone who values a close-knit team, is eager to learn, and thrives in an environment where their contributions can make a tangible difference.

Cons

it's noteworthy that being a small company does come with its limitations. Resources were sometimes scarce, and the scope for scaling projects or accessing certain tools and technologies was limited compared to larger organizations. This occasionally posed challenges but also taught me to be more resourceful and creative in problem-solving.

Pros

Academic environment with reputable leadership. Steve and Mark are not afraid to experiment with new concepts Encourages personal development. Former employees have left i4i for senior roles in Google, Uber, Amazon, Liberty Mutual, Chase Bank, etc. Flexible schedule that comes naturally with a consulting company Although I'd discourage it, opportunity to work remotely is there Senior directors are very experienced and willing to teach and train in spite of their own busy schedule Fantastic senior modelers, some of the best around

Cons

Project-based schedule and small size of firm can lead to heavy periods About 2/3 of directors work remotely, which can pose challenges for learning and day-to-day project work Could use more analysts for day-to-day work. Directors are excellent sources of knowledge but at times are too busy with generating new business
