Pros
- The company's commitment to hiring diversity and sponsoring individuals is extremely refreshing. - Everyone in the company is bright. Each person in management or on the Senior Leadership Team is a wealth of industry knowledge and each make a point of being available at almost any time. - Depending on the client, there is a great amount of creative freedom and collaboration to come up with analytical solutions. Co-founder Steve Cohen works tirelessly to support analysts with new tools and outside-the-box thinking. - The new offices (as of 2021) are beautiful and inviting. The SLT has made sure it's a space that works for everyone. - Health benefits are very good (if you're local to Boston because the network is relatively small). - The COVID-19 transition to working from home went well because of the SLT's clear vision and transparency. Everything that could be done to retain staff and prevent layoffs was done. - SLT knows that hiring entry-level talent means they get driven individuals who can learn skills quickly and bring fresh perspectives. - I always felt that my opinion was valued by management.
Cons
- There were very few conversations about career trajectory. Being a smaller company, promotion is not a cut-and-dry process, but I think communication on what was needed to make take that leap forward would have been nice. - There were notable periods of crunch semi-regularly.
