Pros
IOP has great people. Smart, dependable teams who support each other through thick and thin. The philanthropic and community outreach efforts are awesome and it is great to work at a company who gives back to the community. Training internal and external, corporate events (sports games, company picnic, holiday party, rooftop HHs, 4th of July, Ocktoberfest, golf, bowling, Marathons and 5Ks, etc...). Work/Life balance is better here than any other place I've worked.
Cons
Top heavy. 4 Partners who are actually program managers, several Directors who are actually project managers and 2 owners. There is only one female in a Director/Leadership positions and while she is great and a couple others are also really good, the rest of the Leadership is average overall and are not great at communication or transparency. Promotions are often in title only as the employees who are a consultant one day and a manager the next are still doing the exact same work.
