Pros

10% staff discount, Working hours are quite fixed: Monday to Thursday 9am–6pm, Friday 9am–5.30pm. Two parts of bonus yearly. Provided MyCare for basic medical needs. Dental and Optical provided.

Cons

Aggressive follow-ups that feel excessive. Micro-managing at every level – no breathing space. Absolutely no room for mistakes. Perfection is the baseline – always walking on eggshells. Hierarchical culture – seniority above capability. Low yearly increment, even for high performers. Expected to do lawyers' and bankers' jobs on top of our own. No company trip or even proper team building activities. HR’s sessions are questioned – like we need to justify taking care of our mental health. Thinking of promotion? Keep dreaming!

Pros

Attractive salary and benefits but no future as hell await you in Penang

Cons

Work environment was discomfort and demotivating due to super controlling and anger issue Taiwanese GM. Communication was often one-way, feedback from staffs were not welcomed and needed as it will be taken as challenging a KING's order. Prepared to be blamed or criticized when issues arose as management always right.

Pros

1. In term of benefits, you'd think IOIPG is the best employer when actually they are only serve the bare minimum benefits. 2. Everything at IOIPG will upgrade to automation process. Good for finance, s&m team but holy suck for GDTT team.

Cons

This review is specifically for GDTT, as these are based on my own experiences; 1. Head of GDTT is a workaholic person. Do not expect her to understand your 'procrastinate' mood every time she assigned you a project task. If you are on AL at the early project kick off date, please make sure you bring your laptop together with you. She would ping/reach you for the sake of so-called-urgent task. Leaving her text unread will cause you to get extended after probational period. 2. Head of GDTT is micro-manage leader. She would review your task and definitely do what micro manage person would do. Now you will feel the task you had done before starting to mess up & everything needs her approval & review. 3. Micro manage leader but if always come refer would mistakenly label as 'spoon feed'. Good luck. 4. Bias. No need to explain further.
