Unfortunately Ipsen has becoming more and more about metrics with little focus on people or the customers needs. There has been an increasing amount of micro-management and a steady decline in autonomy as things have moved to a virtual world - I feel less and less trusted in my role. Management does not take feedback productively and instead blames the employees for any issues and suggests it is that teams fault. Those in management roles don't listen to feedback from customers either and instead form their own opinions on what is happening. It feels as though very little progress is ever achieved as materials are delayed and the strategy constantly changes to suit other agendas making it difficult to understand the bigger picture. It also feels as though you are expected to "check in” on emails and phones when on annual leave and that you should not be taking time off.
