Pros

Nice office and convenient downtown location, "soft" perks like organized provided lunches, PTO is not prorated (you get it all right at the start of the year), nice co-workers

Cons

Just to start, the other thoroughly written negative reviews are spot on, more or less, so I won't belabor the points they've already covered though I would put more emphasis on the the social/office politics which really stuck in my craw. Work/life balance could be summed up as "we're not saying you need to work overtime but it's in the best interest of your continued employment that you do." If you want a sane 45-hour workweek, you can pull it off for a while here but it will not go unnoticed. It's done in the name of "growth" but have you ever met a company that said "we've grown enough?" The ESOP they like to cheer about? Hope you're in no rush to collect it. It's been a while since I read the details but to my memory, should you ever want to realize 100% of the shares they give you, you'd be looking at about a decade before you'd have it as cash in hand. Vesting starts....2 years in I think. Full vesture is after 6 years, and then they have 2-3 years after that to pay out your shares. Don't take it as a given that you'll see that money since who knows whether you'll stay there as long as *you* want to. Pay is on the low end for the industry, but at least they'll admit to it. They'll ask you to leave a glassdoor review before you've barely been there two months. I find that disingenuous. Glad I had the foresight to wait. While nice, the offices are open floorplan. Really has a panopticon feel to it; not a fan. Despite my misgivings, I really did generally like the people I worked around; you'll likely have the same experience. The catch is nice coworkers don't provide your paycheck or make the business decisions.

There really aren't any negatives.

Pros

Friendly people to work with.

Cons

Focused on optics and limited mentoring. You either got it or you don't.
