To start with, all the Glassdoor posts which say "No cons and everything is good" are scripted by the HR and admin team.
Try to notice a pattern, there was one negative post related to an interview experience of a candidate. Within 3 days, another post came to counter the negative feedback.
The true post contained some negative feedback about the experience with the company CTO.
But in order to counteract, they scripted a post wherein a candidate who applied for a job in "Marketing" praised the CTO although CTO is a core technical person.
The CONS are listed below:
1. No drafted policies. Policies tend to change frequently as per the management's will.
Although they keep coming up with new policies, the situation is always worst due to frequent changes in favor of the management.
2. No qualified HR team. The people in HR team used to belong to chat support team and are now made to represent HR team.
3. Funny leave policies. The sandwich is applied in the leaves i.e. if a person takes leave on Monday or want to club a leave with a public holiday, then the person's leave balance for all the days of absence are deducted.
This means Monday holiday results into the deduction of 3 days leave (3 days include Saturday and Sunday).
4. A person can take only 1 hr break during a day. If the break exceeds 1 hr, half day salary will be deducted. This 1 hr includes a lunch break.
They say we have changed this policy but it is not true as there are lots of "IFs and BUTs" if one wants to exceed the break.
5. The individual needs to enter in and out time on a sheet of paper while taking a break.
6. More SHOW OFF and less implementation i.e. the company try to portray itself as a world-class company with an aspiration to become Google one day but everything is just a hoax to LURE more candidates to join the company.
Example: There are sleeping pods in the company in a room. This room was last opened on the day of the installation of pods and then for taking the photographs to lure candidates.
7. In case of a salary deduction, policies will be manipulated by the Senior Management in such a way that the employee will never get the deducted salary back.
8. Extremely poor working culture with practically no process orientation.
9. There are many cases where candidates have just dropped the job and left because of the company policies and the poor behavior of Senior Management.
