Pros

Stable workplace for the most of it. Good internal growth opportunities.

Cons

Stagnant jobs for those who don't actively look for something new. The salaries are rather low. ...but the biggest con is how upper management handles change. They imposed a back-to-office mandate out of the blue, without prior communication and without being able to properly explain the reasons behind it. There is no adequate infrastructure for this, as offices are below capacity, they offer poor working conditions, and teams can hardly stay together. No question is answered, no argument is listened to, all are either ignored or met by repeating the same corporate bs that was said in the initial communication. Logistic issues are met with "we'll look into it later" although the mandate is effective now. Line managers have been thrown under the bus to defend and implement the mandate, but they have no idea how, as no guidelines have been provided. And to top it all, top management went as far as signaling zero trust towards its employees and colleagues by comparing everyone to school children who don't know any better, in an official communication.
