Pros

I cannot say enough kind things about InTandem and their CEO. I worked at InTandem in their Birmingham office for almost two years, and I can honestly say I have never learned more or had better experiences anywhere else in my career. The CEO is an absolute role model for every employee at InTandem and one of the best motivators you will ever encounter. I truly loved every day in this role and loved getting to sell promotional gear to clients who are just as amazing as the team at InTandem. The CEO and her husband, go above and beyond for their clients, but especially for their employees. This is not an easy job, and I don’t think anyone should apply if they expect to skate by with minimal effort. This role is for people who want to challenge themselves and learn from the best in the promotional world. I came into this position after being laid off from my previous job, and I was ready to work. I put in the time and effort, and it truly paid off. I am more than thankful that I was hired and that I got to spend nearly two years with such a fantastic company.

Cons

Personally, I am not someone who enjoys work travel, and this role did require traveling for events around 5–6 times per year. The headquarters is located in Georgia, so I did not get to see my boss on a daily basis. That said, this dynamic helped build a strong sense of trust and independence between us, which I truly appreciated. Although there is distance between offices, company gossip can occasionally be quite prevalent.
