Pros
It's a good way to get a company on your resume if you're struggling to get professional internships. You will be working with a team, and will gain experience with problem solving code merges.
Cons
The organization lacks structure. You won't learn a lot about good code practices, or even a lot about technology. Not a lot of guidance as everyone there is an intern. Most skills you can learn on your own by doing an independent project. Also, it's unpaid.
