I have been impressed with the mentoring of young engineers as they transition from internships to engineering assistants. I have watched these young people rising through the ranks to become project managers overseeing the next wave of interns and engineering assistants. Senior engineers with several decades of experience provide guidance, mentorship and collaboration. Mid-level engineers coming on board will be able to be involved in every type of municipal capital improvement project imaginable.
