Pros
Starting at iFactor during the pandemic I still felt extremely welcome! Everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help. The company quickly brought me up to speed and made me feel like a member of the family right away. I love how easy it is to talk to anyone and how they always want the best for you. The senior engineers are very knowledgeable and always find a kind way to correct your mistakes and explain what to do in the future. I also enjoy having halfway on Friday its a very nice way to start the weekend.
Cons
Compared to other companies the number of vacation/sick days is limited, sick and vacation are combined into one.
Since the consulting firm is small a majority of the drafting is done by young engineers who do design as well, I think this is a good skill to learn but overtime the drafting does at times outweigh the design at times. I think the company should hire dedicated drafters to speed up this process and make the company more efficient.
