Pros

Holiday allowance was quite good, that's about it.

Cons

I know of instances where senior management have mocked employees mental health, physical appearance and openly discussed ways to try and circumvent legislation designed to protect consumers. Engineering team is bloated with middle managers but based on the state of the main project/platform (late, over budget and feature poor) you'd think no one was managing it. Turnover of actual developers was pretty high. Company town halls are just propoganda and hype - they used to brag about how ahead fo the competition they were and how they were even ahead of the other 'disruptors'. That competition got valued at over $1Billion last year and Inshur... didn't (they were unable to react effectively to Covid as they had hobbled themselves with the expensive, unecessary and poorly conceived & executed replatform mentioned above). CTO is a sleazy salesman not an engineer. COO just sleazy. HR talk a good game about caring for employees, mental health etc. but anything shared in 'confidential' safe-space sessions is passed straight onto managers and the C-suite. CEO never displayed much of anything on which to form an opinion he was just sort of there.

Pros

I have enjoyed working with the company. The company provides a family like culture, comparable benefits, and an environment that promotes diversity and mental health. From interview process to onboarding, it was pretty seamless.

Cons

There needs to be a training manual or process built out for the claims department. There are a lot of manual processes that can be automated. This made training a bit more manual by having to remember everything vs having a training portal to go back to.

Thank you for sharing this! Really glad the onboarding felt smooth and that the culture has come through so clearly. The feedback on training documentation for the claims team is genuinely useful and something we want to get right. We hear you!

Pros

In US and UK with international meetings. Work from home Engaging with Employees and overall treatment of employees with respect and understanding.

Cons

Limited resource to be productive from a NY PIP perspective. Understaffed for PIP and not enough understanding of PIP Claims from an upper management perspective. Challenges affect ability to perform well and meet expectations. PIP Adjusters have to be flexible but recent events, changes, decisions have made this difficult for even the most experienced of adjusters. Provider inquiries and special projects take up most of our time and take away our ability to handle claims properly.
