Pros

Good PTO, nice colleagues, very competent, benefits affordable.

Cons

Although some managers I have interaction with were perfectly normal, mine happens to be a bully unfit to lead staff. Monitors team all day to see if we are online, intense micromanaging, very negative person, demeaning in team meetings, does not recognize accomplishments, high turnover on team, makes unreasonable demands, and uses intimidation tactics. Company is not moving with the times, starting to have employees commute back to offices with high gas prices when working remotely was working well. It’s their “culture”. Not flexible, they care more about their ideologies from another era over what makes sense and what is best for employees. Salaries are low, not enough to live on after benefits and taxes come out, add the commute and there goes your paycheck. Corporate has an enormous and beautiful main office campus in Texas, waste of money, not enough employees to fill large buildings and expensive overhead, monies could be used more wisely. We hear a lot about growth, but salaries do not grow. Many departments understaffed and overworked. Again, not moving with the times.

Pros

The culture at Insperity is second to none. Very strong PEO service and marketing & service support. Strong income potential for someone who is willing to invest 5+ years building residuals.

Cons

The base salary for the role is below industry norms. While the actual PEO services are world class, the services come at a high premium vs competitors. Because of the lower salaries, many of the BPA's leave for higher salaries.
