Pros
Developing relationships with dogs struggling with behavior health issues, and learning from them—and the specific medicines/forms of treatment they undergo is an extremely rewarding experience. They also have a really good sense of setting up, cleaning a kennel, medicine/medical protocol etc
Cons
The management is pretty rough, the overturn rate is extremely high—influx of incompetent staff and unfair treatment between staff members. The owner does not help, or get involved nearly as much as she should. Some serious favoritism with various employed family friends, family members, and best friends that got high positions/pay/hours—all perks certainly not rooted in performance here. Assistant manager borderline hazes and diminishes new employees and various people have quit over this. Yet owner and upper management did nothing about it. Very unfortunate situation.
