Pros

The only perk is working remotely.

Cons

Coding management can be toxic and often lacks strong knowledge in coding when situations get challenging. Blames coders and takes no responsibility for poor decisions.

Pros

Its most important for me to work with good people. IMS is awesome with really friendly, dedicated, and chill folks. A majority are from military families and they naturally live and breathe 'service' and working towards the greater good. It gives me immense satisfaction to work alongside them. I have direct access to everyone that works at IMS, including the C suite. And they are east to talk to and genuine. The company also seems to be growing. I feel secure in my current role.

Cons

Benefits could be better. Health, Dental, Vision are available, but expensive. No 401K matching or LTD/STD.

Pros

It is a job, better than being unemployed.

Cons

Where do I begin? First, do not trust these reviews because there is no way to verify if they are doing these to make their company look better than what it is. The salary is way below average. The benefits are Horrible. There is no life insurance or short time life insurance. The health benefits are ridiculous. It almost comes across like you are working in a third world company. This company is run by someone who was not born in this country and you will see why there appears to be many things that aren’t standard practice in most American companies. Now, if you are on a somewhat ordinary contract, then just fly the line, turn in your tasks and deliverables and you should be fine, but remember they come from a culture where employee rights are often violated and I am writing this as a warning. The company does not honor work from home even if the Government client is okay with it. They will overstep what the Government requests because the company wants to FEEL you are productive. An employee will start to feel the company doesn’t care because you are expendable.

It is always tough to respond to anonymous reviews like this one – but it does give us an opportunity to share our success story. To the reviewer, if you have been a part of IMS, we thank you for your contributions to our success and sorry that it didn’t work out for you. At IMS, we strongly believe in open and transparent communication with our employees and clients, and we welcome a direct conversation to understand your frustrations better and identify areas of improvement at IMS. We are proud of having earned the trust and confidence of our employees and clients and where we have come as an organization since our inception in 2014. As woman-owned small business in a highly competitive marketplace, we strongly believe that our employee benefits are an advantage for us, but like everything else, we are looking to make it even better in 2024 and in the next years to come. A few facts: 1) Our employees live across 21 different states in the US 2) 90+% of them work from home 100% of the time 3) We are a remote first company unless there are specific needs to be in person. We'd love to engage directly with you, feel free to reach us out at HR@im-strat.com.
