The organization is massively bloated, with excessive layers of management, directors, executives, that all have little accountability, or substance. Many roles lack clear purpose, structure, or measurable impact. Leadership is arrogant and disconnected from day-to-day realities. The company cycles through young talent but fails to provide the structure and mentorship needed to develop and retain it. The executive team are control freak boomers that do not trust in their staff. Leading to poor delegation, unclear roles, responsibilities, and constant second-guessing. These same execs are deeply anxious and overly involved in tactical day-to-day decisions. Yet every decision or direction must be approved by them.. Collaboration is replaced by backstabbing and self-protection.
