The team at Intensity expects and exhibits a very high level of excellence in everything they do, making the firm a great place for professionals who want to produce economic analysis at the highest level. The culture is very collegial, and co-workers are highly supportive of each other's professional development. Management is very thoughtful, and open to feedback from employees at all levels.

Cons

Not for slackers! Projects can occasionally get hectic, but hard work is always recognized by the firm.

Pros

The people at Intensity make it a uniquely rewarding place to work. Intensity is a collection of incredibly brilliant individuals with top tier educations, talents, and abilities. What makes Intensity unique is that these individuals are unexpectedly respectful and polite and genuinely good people to work with. While the company has titles, the organization is relatively flat and welcomes ideas from any employee beginning on day one. The company was founded in professional services, and has since expanded to a diverse set of offerings and is expanding with new products. People here are able to gravitate to what interests them most, and as long as the production is outstanding and valuable, employees can effectively make what they want of their roles.

Cons

One may wonder, where does the name Intensity fit in with the culture? In my view, the Intensity comes through in the high-quality work and in the culture of relentless pursuit of improvement throughout every aspect of the company. This isn’t so much a “con” as it is a caveat, that Intensity is not the type of organization for a new employee that wants to come in and hide out without producing much. Rather, Intensity is for a new employee that wants to work with highly productive and brilliant people, and is willing to work hard to try to keep up with all the great minds around them and produce at a high level.
