Pros

This job gives you an overview of many different areas of the business and you will meet with heads of industry from different parts of the landscape.

Cons

The CEO is disconnected from reality. He is obsessed with creating headlines (we never hear the end of how he is an ex journalist) as opposed to running a global network that is at the forefront of the digital industry. He has surrounded himself with “yes” henchmen and bullies anyone who holds a different perspective. He often yells at staff and throws tantrums in the office. I know for a fact he lies to the Board and key stakeholders about the business and financials as well as to his own staff. All senior management cared about is announcing “big things” when they are no where ready to be deployed. This is a business currently built on vanity metrics and the company is one exposé away from imploding.

Pros

Working at IAB has been a career-defining experience. It’s one of those rare places where smart, driven people come together not just to do great work, but to create something meaningful — a culture built on connection, creativity, and courage. The leadership team genuinely listens, adapts, and encourages people to bring their full selves to work. There’s a balance of challenge and support here you’re pushed to grow, but also surrounded by leaders who care about your well-being. What I love most is how visible and approachable the executive team is. Transparency isn’t just a buzzword — we actually talk about what’s working and what isn’t. The hybrid flexibility, unlimited PTO, wellness initiatives, and focus on leadership development make it clear that IAB invests in its people. It’s a place where your ideas are heard, your work is valued, and you’re encouraged to lead from wherever you stand. If you’re looking for a culture that’s real, inspiring, and full of opportunity — this is it.

Cons

Fast pace requires adaptability and focus. Many exciting initiatives at once. Continuous change can challenge consistency.

Pros

Great to learn the indusrty from the ground up

Cons

The workload at IAB can be quite demanding, and there appears to be limited opportunity for career advancement in certain areas of the organization. Additionally, some ELT members have longstanding tenure, which can make upward mobility less frequent as leadership positions do not open up often.
