Pros
Interclypse is continuously differentiating itself from many of the other Government Contractors in the Baltimore/D.C. Region. Interclypse leadership empower their employees to take on new and exciting challenges. In the 2 years I've been with Interclypse I have personally seen Interclypse take on clients with differing markets and technology stacks. From Federal contracting, to state contracting, and commercial customers, Interclypse is constantly diversifying itself from other government contractors and customer software development shops.
Leadership leads by example, they are always looking to find challenges that are of interest to their employees to keep them actively engaged.
Compensation is on par or better with other employers in the area.
A couple other highlights for Interclypse:
- Cultivation - This is Interclypse's approach to engaging high school, college level, and others that are returning to the workforce. Through the Cultivation process Interclypse provides the individuals with the skills and mentorship to find a technology related position close to the individual's passions. Its a really great approach to continuously inject youthful minds into the workforce.
- COVID-19 Response - As a subcontractor on many government contracts, Interclypse has been held to the guidance of the primes and the government on most efforts, however that has not stopped leadership for working with all employees on an individual basis to find solutions that work best for the company.
- Stability - Coming from a commercial company with annual layoffs it has been refreshing to join Interclypse, and not have to fear about the company's financial stability on a daily basis. Leadership is very strategic and responsible with their financial decisions and it shows in the success of the company, low attrition rates, and of course salaries/benefits/bonuses. It is clear that leadership is driving for long term success.
Cons
Location - currently Interclypse has only one MD based office in Annapolis Junction, MD.
