Pros
Very friendly company, can have banter with some of the management and will listen if you need to talk. Work is engaging most of the time with the ability to learn from other employees/externally if it's relevant to your role.
Cons
Limited progression. After speaking with countless employees, this is the main downfall for Intertek. Looking at other ratings, it's not site limited. Progression only happens for the few already higher up. They will prioritise people with qualifications, even if they are incompetent, lazy and have zero experience. No matter how much you take on or how much you try to prove yourself, it's always a battle to try and justify your worth. This can lead to thinking you're not as good as you are and can even result in mental health problems.
