Pros

Generally good colleagues at field level and mid-managerial level. Meet people from different nationalities. Support from offices in other countries

Cons

Current top management (National level) cannot be trusted. Frequently uses Permanent Residency as a bait to attract cheap labour ( 457 Visa) for regional ports in Australia. Working conditions in employment contracts not adhered to. Employees frequently required to work much more hours then what stated in employment contract without overtime. Current top management (National Level) treated empolyee below as a piece of cargo. Some employee who were drained of every ounce of energy during their younger days (without extra compensation) were disposed of (like a tin food that has reached its used by date) by the current top management when they were exhausted with bare minimum compensation. The word "loyalty" is not in their vocabulary and not appreciated. Older employees are treated like "dinosaurs" and got rid of with the slightest of excuse.

Pros

Good group of people in local office.

Cons

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
