Pros

- Mission-oriented company (democratize job access) and truly influenced by their mission daily. - The opportunity is huge. Software engineering hiring in the US alone is a massive market, and interviewing.io has a unique approach to solving the inefficiencies for the benefit of candidates and companies. - Aline, their founder and CEO, is a sincere and transparent leader who has created an open, collaborative, fun, and results-oriented company.

Cons

- First, the obvious: It's still a small company. Resources are sparse, so you need to get most things done yourself – many related growing pains such as missing processes. - The company does not just build software. Their operational side deals with human beings and all their edge cases. This can lead to frustrating situations where you feel you do everything right, but the customer is unhappy because a candidate ghosted them.

Pros

Fast paced team. CEO cares deeply about people and the mission.

Cons

Small team. Everyone works late and at odd hours. Everyone discusses work life balance being fine, but admittedly everyone tends to work on vacations. I get the sense this is not a requirement for the company, but there is some pressure to do so since everyone else is.

Pros

> everyone who works here is fun to be around and smart. I genuinely enjoy internal meetings and company events which is something I haven't always experienced elsewhere > the company mission is positive and if we do well, lots of people will have gotten good jobs via a more fair hiring process that focuses on ability rather than their background or how they look on paper. > it's a small company with a ton of room to experiment and iterate > since I joined I've been given a lot of freedom to chart my own path and focus on things I enjoy / want to learn / suit my skill set > we have good relationships with our customers.

Cons

> It's a small company - it has small company problems but they don't outweigh the small company benefits for me. > Work/life balance is good for a startup but it's still a startup.
