Pros
The diversity of the workforce is fabulous. The timelines are fair, there is some stress but nothing out of the ordinary. The projects are interesting. Technical instrumentation is fair to good. Managers overall are very smart.
Cons
Like most other companies in this industry, management is inexperienced. Technically, they are good and provide excellent advice. Problem is, they do not know how to manage a group. It seems most of the political problems are at the middle-management level. There is no hiding the fact that the technical mangers do not like each other. At times, it get's really childish and rude and creates a really uncomfortable atmosphere for the reports, between groups. Here lies Intrexon's problem and it will limit their growth. The sad part is, there is no central management to fix this.
