Pros
The work is very engaging and customers are generally great to work with. Coworkers are awesome scientists who generally work together collaboratively.
Cons
Post-acquisition by Calyx/CapVest, things have gotten very bad. Benefits have been stripped- benefits which primarily impact women and young families. Parental leave has been halved to 2 weeks, and minor holidays (school/daycare holidays) have been taken away. This company is not family friendly and is not interested in staying competitive in the market with their benefits. If you are a young professional who is considering starting a family soon, this is not the place for you.
Salary is lower than industry standard, but historically benefits have made up for this. Without these benefits, there is very little incentive to stay long term.
