Pros
If you're self motivated, always willing to learn and keep updating your skills with new technology demanded by the marketplace, the sky's the limit at Iocane. No ones going to hold your hand but if you take the initiative, you will be rewarded and your work recognised. Plenty of training is on offer from the various partner organisations and paid training is available if you ask.
The focus is on business outcomes rather than pure tech so you get to understand how your work directly improves other organisations.
The atmosphere in the office is fun and most people want to be challenged and work hard. The fridge is open every Friday afternoon. Epic christmas parties, mid year parties, team building, paid lunches - fairly rare stuff in most organisations nowadays are still common at Iocane.
Most employees manage their own working hours, you are trusted to get the job done at times that suit you.
Cons
Organisation is still growing so there are lots of process gaps, lots of areas to improve but that's the same in every IT company.
Staff who under-perform or aren't interested in learning will be let go, there is no free loading.
