Pros
The work-life balance at Irdeto is very good. Most managers accept flexible working hours and places, as long as the work gets done on time and objectives are met. Several nationalities work at the larger Irdeto offices, which leads to a very interesting international atmosphere. Some positions benefit from very competitive salaries.
Cons
Irdeto management says that the company is or should be market and customer centric, but in reality this is not the case because no investments are made to further this goal. Marketing activities remain communication focused. Products are developed because engineers can make them, but there is not necessarily a demand for the product and no guarantee that it meets a customer need. Teams are reorganized yearly, which means that employees have 12 months or less to meet objectives. There is no long-term plan and company strategy changes every single year. Leadership is weak and based upon fear, not encouragement.
