Pros
Lots of overtime even if you don't want it. Co-workers are nice. It's heartwarming to see some of them move on to something better.
Cons
Low tippers. Pricey games and crappy comp system for players. All the high rollers who used to come when it was ran by Caesars rarely show up anymore. Caesar had a culture much more positive. Simple procedures are constantly being reinvented almost weekly. High cost of getting a gaming licence ($550.00) and renewal($200) paid solely by the employee. Rebids for better schedules are a crap shoot. Forced early outs. Procedural/cultural continuity is non-existent due to high turn over in management and experienced floor workers. Money rules over all else. State Casino Commission has punitive authority. Very noisy place. Numerous health code violations in the public and employee kitchen. It may really exist only as a tax write-off for its parent organization.
