Pros
The coworkers you work with are great people. Most all do a good job of trying to meet the forced schedules and deadlines put upon everyone with the fast forward attitude in the home office. Often there is a lack of thought in the design of new applications because not enough people who understand the basics are involved in the early planning of new projects. When you attempt to put focus on this shortcoming it is "Oh yeah I agree and we'll work on it next time". But the next time it's the same old thing and work put out is OK, but could be a lot better.
Cons
Limited advancement/promotions these days. With the consolidation of all the job categories over the past five years there has been some promotions, but not like it use to be before. This places limits on those who would like to get ahead but don't get the opportunity. It gets frustrating to those who do a good job but don't feel they can advance, and thus they leave the company after a short time. Then the cycle begins again with new people who don't understand and those of us that have been around for some time end up having to retrain new ones all over again........it's a viscious cycle!
