Pros

The company was recently acquired by a larger multinational firm, thus it now has the resources of a global company but still maintains that "family" feel with strong relationships between employees and management. The company really focuses on work-life balance for staff and is extremely reasonable in terms of time off, vacation, and work schedule - focusing on output and quality of work more so than when you"clock in and out". Management spends time with each of the employees with weekly one-on-ones in order to coach and receive constructive feedback. Additionally, the office space is new and an open plan, which is very conducive to a strong team environment. The projects are extremely interesting and cover a wide range of industries and topics, and the work done truly helps companies understand and grow in the China market, either by providing market knowledge, or advice on corporate structuring and tax - it is great to not only have a good place to work, but also know that the work you do helps other companies.

Cons

I would say one con (which may also be a benefit) is that the company still has that "small company feel", which means that it isn't bogged down in process and policy; there is a lot of flexibility. However, if you are used to working in a large Fortune 500 company, the lack of overbearing policies may take a while to get used to.

Pros

-Very professional and friendly working environment -Clients are high-profile corporations so work is meaningful -Employees are very inclusive to interns, most of whom are international (take out to lunch, office discussion, etc.)

Cons

-Intern work responsibilities can be a bit slow at times -I was the only intern for most of my time there -Not much training for interns, but superiors are more than willing to answer questions
