Pros

One of the major bonus is that it is fully remote and the people are truly the best (besides leadership)

Cons

The current leadership at Jane has completely lost sight of what made the company successful: its people. The culture has become increasingly toxic, with a CEO whose attitude seems to be, "If you don't like it, then leave." This approach is not only dismissive but deeply narcissistic. Talented employees who built the foundation of Jane’s success are leaving in droves, either because they disagree with the unreasonable demands placed on the support team or because they've been pushed out by egotistical managers who refuse to take accountability for their actions. The environment is no longer one of collaboration and respect, but rather one of frustration and disillusionment.

Goodness. You. have strong feelings and I'm sorry you don't agree with how Trevor and I are leading Jane. I have said, and do believe, that if people aren't thriving they should consider leaving their roles at Jane. Not as a first action, but if it's become clear that there's no path to success. And that's actually because I think it's narcissistic to believe that Jane is the best and only workplace for every single person. We might not be. That's okay. I would rather someone was successful and thriving in their careers elsewhere than struggling and not succeeding at Jane. Pros

Jane is without a doubt, the best company I’ve ever worked for. The team is incredibly supportive, fostering a collaborative and positive environment where everyone is eager to help each other. Our leadership places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, offering flexibility that makes it easy to manage both professional and personal commitments. There are ample opportunities for growth and development, and the leadership team is approachable, transparent, and genuinely cares about the well-being and progression of employees.

Cons

While Jane is doing an amazing job managing growth, there are occasional growing pains as the company scales. Sometimes, adjustments to processes and structures take a little time to settle in, but with the strong team support, it’s entirely manageable.
