Pros

Jeneil provided excellent opportunities for my technical and career growth. I contributed and led technically challenging projects with the support of many accomplished scientists. Jeneil is a technology driven and led company that is fully invested in research and innovation to address market demands. I grew and matured as a scientist while working in this technology focused environment. Health benefits were great. My co-workers were delightful to work with. Work routine was 8-5, Monday - Friday

Cons

Jeneil is a smaller company with many long-time employees. As a result, promotions or advancements were less frequent as compared to a larger company. No 401k match

Pros

This company uses the biosciences to create products of value. From its founding, there is an entrepreneurial spirt that each person can significantly contribute to the company value and grow their skill set over time. To that ends, there is a competitive marketplace which requires exceptional scientific and innovative skills to make winning products. Your immediate team and management will allow you to your skills and the institutional knowledge to arrive at best modes of action. You are really only constrained the market realities of the world and, and if you make a compelling case, you are free to execute a feasibility study to perhaps a full-blown commercialization. The successful technologist or scientist will need to have a comprehensive approach to the work they are doing, that is, paying attention to the immediate work at hand as well as understanding how their contribution matters.

Cons

The biosciences can be a risky venture and the realities of the marketplace may disrupt even the best business plan. This can be at times stressful on the teams involved with execution. There may also be the human interpersonal tribulations, but the environment of trust and respect that is embedded in the organization help keep those in check.
