- free snacks - 12 o'clock salads - 3 o'clock fruit - breakfast 2 x 1 week - flexible hours - paid commute - internal & external conferences - free massage 1 x 2 weeks - clean office - gym and showers - free fitness classes - comfortable work stations - and most important very quiet, 0 interruptions, ideal environment to code!
Cons
There are only a few cons and pertaining to my team only, not sure what is happening on other teams: - on-boarding chaotic - not all but a majority of people are unfriendly (was told it is a cultural thing :)), have no problem to give you attitude to a simple question - get ready to figure out on your own how things work in your team and company overall because if you ask questions people become defensive and angry - a few developers have a super-star syndrome - no collaboration between developers - this is a Russian speaking office, so get ready to have lonely lunches - a few times I witnessed my co-worker's interactions that were unprofessional: angry & condescending remarks via chats, internal company board, and code review comments - not clear which direction the team is going - a huge backlog of tickets from users are ignored most of the time In summary, if you are kind of a developer who is not bothered or have a thick skin to deal with people's (developers) crappy/grumpy/i-am-smarter-than-you attitude then you should be ok. If you are person who likes collaboration and working with friendly and ready-to-help attitude people reconsider this company. However, it is not fair to say that maybe other teams are ok.
