Pros

Joybyte had a very positive shift in leadership when I came in — the reviews here on Glassdoor had me hesitate at first but it's a great sign when you notice that leadership is shifting things based on these pain points and feedback. The work is great, I am learning a lot of new things, and I have felt no issue in keeping my work-life balance steady. The flexibility has been really helpful in that regard, I am grateful to work with leadership that trusts us enough to be adults who get our stuff done.

Cons

Naturally, there are growing pains and kinks to work out as departments grow, improve, and expand. However, leadership is quick to acknowledge these pains to ensure support is there.

Pros

Supportive team environment, strong communication across departments, collaborative leadership, and a lot of opportunity to grow professionally within the TikTok Shop/e-commerce space. The work is fast-paced and challenging in a good way, and there is a strong culture of problem solving and innovation. Leadership is very open to ideas and feedback, and the company overall has a very positive and motivated atmosphere.

Cons

Because the company is growing quickly, processes and systems are constantly evolving, which can sometimes create a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities. Like most agency/client-facing roles, there can also be periods of high workload depending on campaign timing and platform demands.

Pros

Employee-first mentality makes Joybyte a great place to work. Lots of support from leadership, client escalations are met with respectful internal conversations and collaboration to make things right. Workload is definitely a grind, but I've never known a marketing agency where you *aren't* trying to get 1000 things done per day. Definitely wouldn't say that workload is out of the ordinary for this industry, and a plus is that the company strives to be as organized as possible with project management and to-do lists. Clients are generally really great people and it's lovely to work with them.

Cons

One does feel a bit siloed from other teammates since everyone is working on their own client list remotely. There is not much connection with others, even in the same department. This can be a plus - you're able to do your own work with few interruptions from others - but can also feel very distant from anyone else on the team.
