Pros

I’ve been with Jumio for almost 11 years, and it has truly been a rewarding journey. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work across multiple roles, departments, and under different leaders – each experience helping me grow both professionally and personally. The company has constantly evolved with the times, yet maintained its culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus. What stands out most is the opportunity to make an impact while working with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Leadership is approachable, the work is exciting, and the environment genuinely supports learning and career growth. Even after more than a decade here, I still feel challenged, motivated, and excited to come to work. I can easily see myself spending another 11 years at Jumio.

Cons

No organization is perfect, but the beauty of Jumio is that feedback is taken seriously, and efforts are always made to improve. The only “downside” is that you may enjoy your work so much that you’ll catch yourself thinking about it even on weekends. To be clear, the company doesn’t expect you to work on weekends – it’s just that the environment is so engaging, you sometimes can’t switch off!

Wow, you've seen a lot of change over 11yrs - and it's great to read that you've experienced different roles and continued to learn and grow over the years. Really appreciate everything you must have done for Jumio and for taking time to post. The ability for every person to make a meaningful impact on the business is something I love about Jumio too.

Pros

Jumio offers a ton of opportunity for growth if you’re someone who likes taking on new challenges. You can own meaningful projects, collaborate closely with teams across the company, and get real visibility with executive leadership. Because it’s a smaller organization, your impact is felt quickly and you’re able to build skills and influence processes in a way that’s hard to find at larger companies.

Cons

The pace can be intense because the company is lean and there’s always a lot happening at once. With fewer resources, you often juggle multiple priorities and need to be proactive about staying organized and focused. If you prefer very structured environments or narrow job scopes, the level of ambiguity and workload at times may feel overwhelming.

We appreciate you taking the time to write such a thorough review. It's great to hear you're having such a positive experience and couldn't agree more on the Pros you've mentioned. Thanks for painting an accurate picture - you're right in saying that Jumio might not be the best place for you if you prefer to be in larger corporate environments with a narrow job focus.
