Pros

Theres two types of workplaces. Large offices where you can become part of the furniture, or smaller more intimate companies - where you have the ability and support of the whole team to get involved with what ever projects that tickle your fancy, Jupiter is defiantly an agency where you don't become furniture. The relationship I had at Jupiter with clients is excellent - There was the trust from them to do the right thing, meaning in researching, strategising & implementing I was given a large amount of autonomy. The culture there was - unexpected, especially if you come from a civil service background, but I soon learned that in-between a bit of play, there is a lot of work to be done. In-between work, there are plenty of opportunities to socialise with the crew. Especially when the beer fridge is provided free to employees. if you've got the skills it's easy to work your way up the business. Pretty awesome Northern Quarter style offices.

Cons

I had a large company background so the intimate nature can be a little scary at first - especially if you're not used to a flatter management hierarchy. Sometimes you have to actively seek out supervision. I think this is a more industry con, but there are patterns of busy periods and quiet periods.

Pros

Really friendly working culture with very little office politics Great office location in the city centre that's really convenient for shops and a few lunch spots Great atmosphere where anyone could voice ideas about the company and how to help our clients You get to work with some really big name clients in a creative environment

Cons

None really. There could perhaps be more lunch location options but that's not their fault and the area is getting a lot of development at the moment so I'm sure in six months there will be a loads more.
