But this is quickly eroded and doesn't matter anyway, since the erratic founder and haphazard senior management prefer to disregard realities on the ground and hastily override junior/middle management decisions simply based on whims and fancies

Cutting costs is the sole answer to everything by senior management, ranging from product offering to salaries, leading to high dissatisfaction among tenants and employees alike. The founder has little business sense and tends to act on whims and fancies, leading to haphazard and irrational decision making.
