Pros

You'll get the chance to own some products and lead changes on them. As it's a relatively small start-up you can push changes with little to none supervision which means you can do meaningful contributions or take a service down. You can double your salary during the annual salary revision if you shown strengths during the previous year. If you perform well you'll be monetary compensated.

Cons

You need to hate yourself as you'll lose your dignity. Prepare to be yelled and humilliated and watch the USA office do nothing about it because the Mexico's managment is too busy kissing CTO and CEO's glutes. The USA is great, they respect their workers but the Mexico office will treat you as trash for a couple or reasons: 1. They have no compentence in the software industry market for Software Engineers. Justia Mexico can double the salary of other companies in the area (Saltillo and Monterrey, probably all the mexican northeastern). 2. Senior employees are untouchables. Your opinions are worthless unless you have 8 years or more in the company. That's why you'll see low rotation because other places offer poor benefits. This very few employeer will have a very good reputation with CTO and CEO and the Mexico's office management is not capable of doing nothing without their permission. Things that will make you think twice if the salary is worth it: - Your boss is probably going to harrass you in Social Media. It's a small office so your boss is probably going to add you to FB and criticise you if you enjoyed a party last night during stand-up in front of your collagues (true story). - Yelling is more important than providing arguments. Your >7 years senior boss will raise their voice in front of everybody at will as nobody is capable of stop her. - You boss is going to look over your shoulder 9 hours a day (not kidding). - You can do little about the previous points as Mexico's office manager is useless and the USA office can't really notice the most deep issues in their employees as they only have the story of the senior people which is "The Mexico's office is great".

Pros

Justia is a fast growing company with great leadership at the helm. They are focused on their long and short term goals while treating their people well. You are free to approach anyone on the C-Level team with any questions. They have loyal customers and employees which speaks volumes. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Justia and consider many there my friends.

Cons

They could have come back to work at the office a little sooner than they did. However, I'm sure there are reasons that I am unaware of that they stayed remote until recently.
