Pros
They hire the smartest people they can get, and make a lot of strategic moves to benefit the company (even if sometimes they cost an arm and a leg and limit other initiatives.)
Cons
KCI is so top heavy with management, and they all but forgot to promote anyone to take over for the senior leadership, who are all aging out of the company. Department-wise, they are truly uninterested in career advancement for non-engineers. If you aren't billing to clients, you are not a concern. There is a flat structure with no opportunity for advancement in any support group. Additionally, a lot of the older/more experienced project managers show little respect for the time of the team that supports them, expecting miracles overnight and ignoring deadlines almost entirely. It's a hard environment as there is no expectation of reciprocated respect from senior staff.
