Pros

KCSA is a great place to learn and grow your network within the micro cap space. From my perspective, it is a decent meritocracy, where responsibility is given if you can handle it, raises/promotions can happen at any time based on performance. It is a fairly autonomous environment, but a lot of experienced people to learn from. If you are proactive, you can achieve a work/life balance that suits you. Partners are open to hearing your perspective and really consider the employees when making decisions.

Cons

Lack of structure could lead to blurred lines of responsibility. Could potentially have 5-6 managers based on how your accounts are staffed. Not too many vacation days. Since it's a loose structure, whoever is the lead on most of your accounts can significantly impact your experience, for better or worse. However, most account leads are respectful of time and provide support where needed.

I'm so glad you found KCSA to be a place that helped you grow in your career and that you felt we acknowledged and rewarded our employee's appropriately. I appreciate your feedback regarding vacation and checking in on our junior staff. We are regularly working to ensure that employees are staffed appropriately with consideration to their role and skills. We also are constantly bench marking our benefits to ensure we are continuing to be competitive in the market. Thanks for helping bring that into focus for our next discussion.

Pros

You learn so much. You are given real PR and events responsibility

Cons

My summer internship was many years ago at that time it was unpaid. I am not sure if KCSA now offers a paid internship.
