Pros

I've been working at KIXEYE for just under 3 months at this point, and I couldn't love it more. Never have I felt so immediately comfortable and included at a company. Everyone has been nothing but open, welcoming, and professional so far. It feels like a family here, even with telecommuting and people spread across various timezones. My first week we had a lunch and learn seminar about cognitive science, a few weeks later we had a diversity and inclusion workshop, last week we had an internal game-jam: there is always something interesting and communal going on here, and I love it. The workload is manageable, work/life balance is respected, scheduling and time away from desk is not micromanaged, and both my manager and team are people who I already consider friends. Upper management is inclusive and vocal about their expectations, metrics, and needs: this is -the- recipe for transparency. I always know where I stand, what I need to do, what is expected of me. So again: absolutely loving it.

Cons

There have been some departures from the company lately, I think largely due to people revaluating their jobs and lives post-covid (it's why I finally decided to pursue a career as a game designer, a life-long dream of mine, after all), so that has been somewhat destabilizing, but it seems like everyone who is left really wants to be here, so that's inspiring/motivating for me.
