Ok - Chemist KUO Testing Labs Employee Review

The pay is okay. There is a new owner and new office manager, so maybe some changes in the next few years. Relaxed work environment.

Constant staffing issues; people calling in sick weekly. Extremely poor job structure and outline of duties. Good luck asking for vacation time off (can only get a few days approved at a time, including holidays). Job location is in the middle of nowhere (Othello) so you'll have to commute unless your from there (no housing in Othello).

Able to work largely independently

Company is run by a fairly paranoid individual who has dozens of cameras in every location, with audio. He's a skilled chemist but terrible manager, and talks down to everybody in every interaction he has. Pay scale is well below industry average, relying on the desperation of young workers in the industry to get away with underpaying.
