      Benefits and remote work were amongst the small list of Pros

      Cons

      People quit often. layoffs and demotions happen often. No employee retention plan. No regards for top talent or tenured employees. Overpaid and under qualified management teams. This company will chew you up for all you have to offer and spit you out with no remorse.

      Pros

      The people who work at Kafene are all awesome to work with. Especially in the New York office... the culture is great. People are smart, open to new ideas, and collaboration is encouraged. Competitive pay and great benefits. The company cares about employee happiness. There is a good balance of skills and expertise that the leadership team brings to the table -- finance backgrounds and tech backgrounds. It's still a start-up so there are some growing pains with processes and things, but I feel confident the company is moving in the right direction and will continue to grow. The snacks in the office are unmatched.

      Cons

      If you're in NY, you do need to come in 4 days a week. Not a bad thing, but not as much flexibility with your schedule.
