Pros

Extremely low chances of getting fired.

Cons

Extremely high chances of getting discouraged enough to quit. Environment: ----------------- There is no system in place, the office runs in random patterns. Everyone plays the blame game. Forced to work for free at points. Lack of communication. Hostile and Toxic Management: ----------------- Management is sexist. Management talks badly about every single employee. Management only discourages you. Management makes fun of your race by referencing stereotypes. Experience: -------------- Low chances of getting a raise. Upon starting the job there is no training on any position. Sales and Finance: ---------------------- The company has not been in "good shape" for the past 10 years Tasks and Work: --------------------- There is no Design Specs/Documentation for new features There is no Documentation for anything CEO wants programmer to implement features that even he himself does not know, or anyone in the company knows how it is suppose to work in terms of design. When given a task, interrupted and given a second task, then asked why the first task was not finished. Bonus: ---------- I have felt there is some sort of inferiority vibe, where if you are of a certain background you are seen as lesser and therefore not respected or listened the same way. (This can apply to topics like gender, schools, role in the company)

Pros

I like that my contributions matter I have learned a lot of important life skills since working here I receive mentorship on a daily basis When I show interest, I am allowed to learn skills outside of my normal scope of work They invest in their employees if you prove you can stick around It feels like loyalty goes both ways here There is room for career growth Never asked to work overtime The CEO has a bunch of experience in software development

Cons

Your brain will get a workout every day (most of the time this is good, but some days are more of a workout than others) Some people may not like that it isn't remote work There are tests to pass to prove you're learning the product, which may give some people anxiety, but isn't so bad since people here help you learn the subject

Pros

Good pay and benefits, nice location.

Cons

Terrible work ethic with higher ups. Seniority there was terrible with newcomers coming in and treating them horribly.
