Politics over Merritt - Assistant Property Manager Kaplan Management Employee Review

It is a violation of the FLSA to refuse to pay overtime as well as Texas Workforce Commission. Overtime is defined as physically working more than 40 hours in one week. We have never refused to pay anyone that has worked overtime - nor would we. "Politics" is not something that impacts site staff employees - particularly a former assistant manager. All any employer can expect is for you to do your job. If you do not, then supervisors take disciplinary action. That is the way of all employment.
