Pros
Kargo is a great place to work and is a place where people really care about what they work on and about each other. If you are dedicated and work hard, you will get noticed by your peers and management and will see positive growth opportunities. Everyone from the President to HR down to middle management seems to be genuinely interested in constantly improving the company and culture and really work hard to do so. They also offer great perks including unlimited vacations, social events, 401k, and a free health insurance plan.
Cons
There is a delicate balance to success at Kargo. If you are too shy/afraid to speak up or to go out and solve Kargo's numerous daily challenges without someone holding your hand, it can be difficult to be noticed - the most successful people are those go-getters who know where problems lie and how to solve them without being told to do so. On the other hand, Kargo has a relatively young workforce, and as a result includes some millennials who feel entitled and deserving of promotions on day 1 - this approach obviously doesn't work either. The best people at Kargo are those who simply work hard and don't ask for rewards, and those are the ones who are rewarded the fastest.
