Pros
The culture at Katch demands that employees have the discipline to do their job and strive for the success of your team, but with out a manager breathing down your back. The upper management here is not your babysitter- they expect to say something and it gets done, but they are not going hold your hand or micro manage you through it. If you are someone who pushes themselves and has the ability to hold yourself accountable on your own then this is the company for you. With that said-there is help available- but you have to ask for it. Again- this place is perfect for someone who is self- driven. Hit the goal numbers- get rewarded, very simple. Day to life here is great- great food stocked in kitchen, free real food lunch once a week (not just sandwiches), you come and go as you please- (this is where self management comes in- we are adults, do your work, and when it is done, stop working for the day), and the people are funny- they genuinely have fun working together, there's lots of joking in the office, lots of laughing, while the work is getting done. Let's put it this way- I can work from home, but I chose to come to the office because I like it, and I like the people here. I think that says a lot about a place.
Cons
This is not the place for you if you are a person who compares yourself to others- "this person didn't get here until 9:15am, when I got here at 8:45am, this person had this many sales calls and I had this...bla bla" We are a team at Katch- mostly I work so hard, not because I am afraid to get in "trouble" with a boss, but because I respect my team and I want to contribute. I respect this company and I want to see it succeed.
